LGBT Youth 'National Gathering', Dundee, 5-6 Jul

Article by Laura Barbour | 23 Jun 2008

As a city normally renowned for its "jute, jam and journalism", Dundee is soon to be livened up by LGBT Youth Scotland's 'National Gathering' event. Spanning two days, the event promises to provide support and advice to young people in the form of workshops and activities. Also on offer across the weekend will be scavenger hunts, outdoor games and a whole evening dedicated to disco and ceilidh, not to mention the opportunity to revamp your style with professional hair stylists.

Organisers are urging young people to get involved in this opportunity to be yourself and make new friends. The event is open to under-26s and is completely free. Being a friendly lot, they'll even throw in free travel and accommodation when you register through the website, so get online and get involved.
