Taylor Lautner "hates wearing wigs"

The 17-year-old actor "Taylor Lautner" has revealed he hates wearing wigs, after he donned a hairpiece to play werewolf Jacob Black in the vampire film franchise Twilight. In the latest instalment New Moon his character cuts his hair, which was a relief for Taylor.

He said: "I still have the wig for the first half of New Moon, then Jacob cuts his long hair off when he becomes the werewolf which was relief to me. The long hair would get in my mouth when I was trying to deliver my lines. Didn't taste too good."

Taylor added the fake locks were incredibly itchy, making it difficult to remember his lines.

Earlier this year, Taylor admitted he was initially excited to be donning the long locks. However, his excitement began to wane when he realised how hot the wig was.

"When I first heard that I was going to be wearing a wig I was really excited," he revealed. "I was like, 'Cool, I have never worn a wig before, this is going to be fun change my look up a bit.' But then, after the first day of filming I was through with it."
