Alec Baldwin has a "great arse"

The veteran actor Alec Baldwin has revealed he is proud of his butt, even though he frequently hires "bum doubles" when he has to shoot nude scenes in movies.

The 51-year-old star would even consider having cosmetic surgery if his rear end ever started drooping.

"I have a great arse, if I may say so," he laughed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "That's a part of my body that needs no surgical enhancement of rearranging at the moment. But I'm not saying I wouldn't do something! I intend to do something. I probably will. Let's put it this way: I wouldn't rule it out."

Alec's co-star Meryl Streep - who plays his estranged wife in new film It's Complicated - would never go under the knife, because she's scared it would backfire and ruin her looks.

"Well, if you've ever even contemplated that stuff and looked at what can go wrong in any of those magazines, it's terrifying!" she said. "Also, every part of your life is chronicled, so if something mysteriously looks better, they'll all know."
