Single title: Paperhouse
Artist: The Delta Fiasco
Label: Snake & Mirrors

The Liverpudlian threesome of Nathan Walczak, Nick Bentley and Simon Hilton behind The Delta Fiasco have created a vibrant debut with Paperhouse. A sound that screams of The Smiths and New Romantic '80s bands intertwined with a modern twist creates an interesting and indie infused tune. A blend of electronics, guitar riffs, heavy drum beats and a haunting lyrical input is a decent first effort and extra points are awarded for veering away from the generic. However, if Delta Fiasco want to make it big they need to up their game and add their own touch to differentiate an individual style. The Virgin Tears vs WhiteHEAT remix is definitely worth a listen.
