Spare Snare - Sort It For Afterwards

Spare Snare will go elsewhere for their next gig

Single Review by Ally Brown | 15 Jul 2006
Single title: Sort It For Afterwards
Artist: Spare Snare
Label: Self Released

Imagine it – five scruffy men jamming in a kids' playpen. Dinky guitar, picked up and daintily picked, sounds a bit flat. Stoned singer, plastic box drums, and a sorrowful drone from the Blow-It! keyboard: "we know that it's wrong, but we know what we like, get on the phone and sort it for afterwards." Then, they get the Casio drum rolls going, detune the guitar a little more, and sing even flatter for the B-Side. The kids are very confused and one toddler starts to cry. They stole his guitar! Clearly, Spare Snare are used to more appreciative audiences. [Ally Brown]
