My Little Problem - Elephants

Images don't come much more surreal than the idea of "all the elephants in the zoo, hiding tambourines from you", the first line of My Little Problem's latest single. And it distracts ever so slightly from the remainder of Elephants, a low-key concoction of violin, acoustic guitar and shuffling, snare-brushed drums, which builds to a satisfying climax of harmonica and trumpet flurries. The only problem with My Little Problem is a slight lack of personality in the vocals rather than the sounds; main-man Simon Janes conjures up most of his music alone in his bedroom, and he sings like he wants to stay there.
