Mr Beasley - Right as Rain

Mr Beasley’s latest single doesn’t bristle with energy for the entire duration of the song, but don’t let that fool you. This is almost a masterclass in pop with an electronic twist. The lead singer’s voice has depth and the lyrics are full of soul. Already picked up by a late night show on Radio 1 as a record to look out for, this is a short and very sweet three minute dose of wonder. The use of sharp electronic noises against such a captivating voice shouldn’t work, but it does. Play it loud and watch as people enter the room to ask what you’re listening to.
