Liam Finn - Better To Be

Making a name for yourself in music must be pretty difficult if that name has already been firmly established by a successful parent. Unlike Sean Lennon or Jakob Dylan however, Liam Finn may well one day outshine his father - partly because Neil Finn’s Crowded House aren't quite sacred cows on the scale of The Beatles and partly because Better To Be ably demonstrates Finn’s inherited knack for crafting effortlessly breezy pop songs. It’s too slight to earn many accolades on its own, but the pedigree suggests there’s plenty of potential in this progeny from New Zealand.
