Kevin Rudolf feat. Lil Wayne - Let it Rock

Pop music is a peculiar beast: sometimes overly formulaic, written by hacks for any number of identikit 'stars', mixed in such a way as to wring every last drop of humanity out of it, and danced to by pretty people with little musical discernment. Every so often though, a pop song comes along that does its job properly and lodges in your brain. Let it Rock is no such thing. Rather, it is a limp rock/rap hybrid that drowns in its over-production and lies twitching in a puddle of gloss. Lil’ Wayne tries to resuscitate it with a terrible rap interlude, but it's hard to do CPR on a turd. [Ewen Millar]
