Big Ned - Bad Angel

A suitably dark release for a dark month. Bad Angel is the latest offering from Glaswegian duo Big Ned and it isn't for the faint hearted. Low, growling vocals meet reverb laced guitars and dramatic piano notes to create a real creature of the night, pressed straight onto record. The result is a black and ominous track which is right at home on Optimo's new label Optimo Music. Elvis, Nick Cave and Cash all see their influences filter through this four and a half minute song. When members James Clark and John Murray gruffly sing about 'laying with the devil' you half believe that they may have done just that. Only 500 copies are being pressed; if you like your music dark then this comes very highly recommended.
