Metallica – All Nightmare Long

The fifth offering from the mighty ‘Tallica’s Death Magnetic not only sees a true return to form but probably one of the best tracks to be recorded by the metal kings in the last decade. Overcoming the exhaustive intro section, the track is bonded by thick riffs and on-the-chin hooks gilded by a chorus waiting to be sung at a stadium near you sometime in 2009. It's a timeless thrasher and a tune likely to restore the San Franciscan quartet's reputation as bona fide rock gods, even in the most jaded metal fan’s heart.
