Skateboarding's time-honoured affiliation with everything from hardcore punk to hip-hop – and everything in between – has made for some colourful soundtracks over the years. Extremely Sorry – the third movie from skate company Flip and Liverpudlian veteran Geoff Rowley – attempts to cover all the bases and more with its musical accompaniment, but instead offers a somewhat unfocused mish-mash of styles which more often than not sounds half-arsed. Utilising a diverse range of special guests, from Lemmy to Snoop Dogg, producer Baron serves up everything from industrial, distorted chunks to folk-tinged grunge, in a manner that's too cut and paste to enjoy beyond its original purpose. With the exception of ((sounder))'s glistening folk vibes on Burn Out Like Fireflies, the majority of the guest spots here are frightfully uninspired. Lemmy's awkward cover of Stand By Me does possess an odd, if not entirely hilarious, charm, but this is ultimately background music for the half-pipe. [Ryan Drever]
