Label: City Slang

Fans of The Twilight Zone will thrill to Anna Von Hauswolff's choice cover on this, the young Swede's third album. Come Wander With Me, the eerie folk tune sung by actress Bonnie Beecher in the iconic sixties TV show's episode of the same name, is a perfectly pitched and delicately re-trod introduction to Von Hausswolff's most engaging work to date.

The Miraculous gets its title from an un-named area of dark history and natural beauty the singer would visit with her family as a child, but feel free to simply take it at face value. Recorded in part on the 9000-pipe Acusticum Organ located in Northern Sweden's Pitea, the album delivers gothic atmosphere across a series of haunted gospels. From the epic, opening incantations of Discovery to the title track's disquieting requiem, The Miraculous delivers enough minor miracles to make believers of us all.
