Matmos: an electronic outfit without a care in the world, shunning trends, sticking to their guns and always coming up with something truly off the wall. They’ve made tracks out of sounds from operations, hooked up with Herbert for some cool house action, and now they unleash Supreme into the world, a seriously mad but fantastic creation made out of ONLY synthesizers with no sampling or microphones in sight: cool, huh? You have super-quirky casio tone half-step like Mister Mouth, then Exciter Lamp and the Variable Band, which is really just plain nuts: experimental, electronic indulgence. Then there’s not to be missed title track Supreme Balloon - an epic psychedelic synth journey through the minds of some crazed and genius musicians. It’s amazingly well crafted but bonkers electronics for those who dare.
