Sunosis - Warmed

Slickly produced and delicately rendered, this EP/mini-album from London's Sunosis neatly avoids the clichéd dying hamster sounds that too much electronica slips into, instead painting three-dimensional depth and colour in the shadows of these squeaks, gurgles and death rattles. Autumn-hued introspection is Sunosis' aim, and the deep orange softness that permeates Live Long and Flint suggests that there's a great late-night album to come. [Liam Arnold]
