T in the Park Revs Itself For 2009

Winters in Scotland are tough. We all sometimes need something to help us through these miserable, wet months. So imagine this: waking up in rolling, unspoilt countryside on a sun-kissed day, a calm breeze blowing as gentle sounds from a distant stage roll over the lush fields. That’s right, I’m talking about T in the Park. It might seem a bit early to be thinking about Scotland’s favourite festival, but it pays to be prepared – 9am on 28 November sees the release of a limited number of tickets at 2008 prices. For an event that’s guaranteed to sell out, it makes a lot of sense. Although it’s too early for any line-up announcements, a glance back at previous years will show you that in amongst the mix of up-and-comers and main stage headliners, there’s something for everyone. Buy them through ticketmaster and spend the next few weeks planning your own perfect line-up. Now a three day event, T in the Park 2009 will take place in Balado between Friday 10 and Sunday 12 July.
