Young Fathers share new track and 2018 tour dates
The Edinburgh band announce they’ve finished their new album by releasing LORD, a track from the record. Have a listen below
Blistering Edinburgh-based trio Young Fathers have some exciting news for fans: “We've just finished a new album,” they announced on Twitter, before adding what everyone who adored the band’s first two full-length albums – 2015’s White Men Are Black Men Too and 2014's Dead – have been thinking: “and it’s about fucking time.”
To celebrate putting the finishing touches to the album, Young Fathers also have a little surprise for fans, a song from it, called LORD. You can stream or download the track (via Ninja Tune) here: YoungFathers.lnk.to/lord. Although the band leave a warning: “you can’t dance to it”.
The band also announce a run of UK headline shows for 2018, which includes a night at the Barrowlands in Glasgow on 24 March.
