Warpaint to open Liverpool Music Week

Warpaint will head the line-up for this year's Liverpool Music Week, as part of a string of UK tour dates this autumn.

Warpaint play the Liverpool Music Week opening party on 26 October at the Grand Central Dome. The gig from the LA four-piece is the first announced for this year's LMW, which will focus on the newly-refurbished Arts Club venue in Seel Street, as well as the Grand Central Dome. Warpaint last played the festival in 2010, at the now-defunct Kazimier venue.

Warpaint will also play Bristol's Simple Things Festival, as well as gigs at the Queens Hall in Edinburgh, Albert Hall in Manchester and London's Roundhouse. Full tour dates can be found below; tickets for this October's Warpaint shows go on sale on Friday 17 June.

Warpaint's self-titled second album was The Skinny's album of 2014, while Warpaint bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg released her debut solo album Right On! under the moniker jennylee in December 2015. Their third (as yet untitled LP), was frecently completed.
