The Grand Gestures Remixed: Album Premiere

Listen to an exclusive stream of The Grand Gestures' remix album, ahead of their final live show in Glasgow later this month. 

Remixed features reworked versions of tracks taken from the outfit's self-titled debut, as well as subsequent albums Second, Third, and idiosyncratic Christmas collection Happy Holidays. The Grand Gestures project, led by Spare Snare founder Jan Burnett, has featured collaborations with a host of musicians from across the Scottish scene including Emma Pollock, Jill O'Sullivan of Sparrow & The Workshop and BDY_PRTS, and Idlewild and Hazy Janes member Andrew Mitchell.

The remix collection features a trio of reworked songs involving Pollock, a new mix of Christmas single Playing the Games featuring Celie Byrne and Calamity Horse, and a pair of remixes ('Doom' and 'Balaeric' respectively) by Idlewild member Mitchell under his Andrew Wasylyk alias. Listen to the full album in the player, and find the full tracklist below.

The Grand Gestures' final show is at King Tuts in Glasgow on 21 May, with support from Luminous; Remixed is out on 1 July via Cargo.
