WU-TANG CLAN: LIVE AT COACHELLA
It's the 20th anniversary of the release of Enter The 36 Chambers, the debut album by the Wu-Tang Clan, and arguably the most important rap record of the past two decades. Everything about this release was seminal, from the upfront cartoon violence and unflinching social commentary of the lyrics, to the raw, scratchy samples and loops of producer RZA. It wasn't just the music that was revolutionary – by signing a non-exclusive deal with Loud Records for their first album, the band's individual members were able to capitalise on its global success, inking their own deals with major labels and becoming stars in the process.

The rest, as they say, is history. All this year, the band have been gearing up towards a world tour, a new album and a celebration of their legacy. So, can the old crew still cut it, two decades on? Decide for yourself – here's the full footage of the Wu performing at Coachella Festival earlier this year.

NEW VIDEOS: THE PASTELS, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, RUSTIE, CROSSES (†††), FACTORY FLOOR, KID CANAVERAL, EMINEM, JEREMIAH JAE, DAN LE SAC VS SCROOBIUS PIP
The Pastels have unveiled a new video for a track from Slow Summits (reviewed here) – read our interview with the band's Stephen McRobbie here. Watch the meditative, autumnal video by director Blair Young of The Forest of Black below.

The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen, has a new lyric video out this week – it's taken from forthcoming album High Hopes, out on 13 January. As well as members of his legendary E Street Band, the record features Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello.

Rustie's new video – for a track he contributed to a charity compilation for Transgressive North – features the Light of Love Children's Choir. The compilation, out soon, also features tracks by the likes of Four Tet and Gang Gang Dance.

Chino Moreno's Crosses (†††) project released a new video this week – their much-anticipated full-length album drops in February next year.

Factory Floor's phenomenal self-titled debut dropped this month (read our review) – here's the video for new single Turn Up, directed by collaborator Dan Tombs. The band play the Kazimier in Liverpool on 5 December, Glasgow's Stereo on 6 December, and Machester's Gorilla on 7 December. Read our interview with the band's Dom Butler here

Kid Canaveral's latest album Now That You Are A Dancer (reviewed here) has many highlights - not least A Compromise, which gets a video treatment this week from co-directors Beth Chalmers, Jassy Earl (both, we're very proud to say, are photographers for The Skinny) and Vicki Cole. On 14 December, join Kid Canaveral and friends for Christmas Baubles at Portobello Town Hall, their fourth annual group show, featuring Siobhan Wilson, and the legendary Edwyn Collins among others.

Eminem, after taking a critical drubbing from us for The Marshall Mathers LP 2, has unsurprisingly gone on to dominate the charts both here and abroad. Here's the official video for Rap God, with Marshall referencing Max Headroom for all his fans who remember the 80s (yep, both of you).

Sticking with hip-hop, here's a new video from Brainfeeder / Warp artist Jeremiah Jae, taken from his second Warp release on 7" vinyl, Dirty Collections Vol. 2. Jae also contributed a verse to the new record by MAST on Alpha Pup - cop a free download of the track at XLR8R.

Last up, here's the new video from dan le sac vs. Scroobius Pip, taken from new album Repent, Replenish, Repeat, out on 16 December. The duo play The Academy in Manchester on 19 January, Edinburgh's Liquid Room on 20 January, and Glasgow's The Arches on the following night.

NEW TRACKS: THE VELVET UNDERGROUND, FOREST SWORDS X LEE 'SCRATCH' PERRY, DJ RASHAD X FUTURE, GRIZZLY BEAR X DIPLO
Everything's gone remix crazy this week – here's a selection of the best remixes, re-edits and collaborations that have been blowing up the office stereo. But before we begin, here's something special – a rare, unreleased track by The Velvet Underground, taken from a forthcoming 30-track expanded reissue of White Light/White Heat, dropping on 3 December.

First remix up to bat is a take on the cut Thor's Stone, from the superb debut album by Forest SwordsEngravings (reviewed here). The unbelievably dope remix comes courtesy of none other than dub legend Lee 'Scratch' Perry, laying down some classic Upsetter vocals.

Next up, juke and footwork don DJ Rashad (read our review of his latest album Double Cup here) takes on R&B star Future, transfiguring his vocoder-assisted track into a low-slung banger, with help from fellow Chicagoan DJ Gant-Man.

And finally, bass warrior Diplo takes on Grizzly Bear's Will Calls, taken from the recently-released, expanded version of Shields Up. Diplo transfigures the song into an awesome trap banger. You can cop this one for free download too.

4AD SESSIONS: CAMERA OBSCURA
The 4AD Sessions series continues this week, with a ive performance from Camera Obscura, filmed at Glasgow's Tron Theatre. The band play tracks from recent album Desire Lines (reviewed here). Camera Obscura were recently awarded the King Tuts Songwriting Award, as part of the Tartan Clef Awards. Here's our interview with the band's Carey Lander, from a few months back.

MIXES: DANIEL AVERY & JAMES HOLDEN
James Holden guested on Daniel Avery's show on Rinse FM this week – providing us with one of the best 2 hours of techno, electro and house we've heard all year. This mix is absolutely essential - grab a free download here. Both Holden's The Inheritors (reviewed here) and Avery's Drone Logic (reviewed here) were standouts in this year's crop of electronic releases, with Holden's magisterial, deeply complex arrangements providing a perfect foil for Avery's stripped, minimalist take on acid house. Here's our recent interview with Avery.

TRAILERS: HERCULES: THE LEGEND BEGINS, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET
Just space for a couple of trailers - first of all, a new film from Renny Harlin. We'll admit Harlin has made some clangers over the years - from Cliffhanger to Deep Blue Sea - but he has also helmed a couple of action classics too, in the shape of The Long Kiss Goodnight and Die Hard 2. Now, he returns with a new film based on the legend of Hercules. It looks more like an Alexander than a 300... we remain sceptical, but if oiled-up pecs and gladiatorial ultraviolence are your thing, you might well dig it.

Next up, we'll just fire some names at you. Leonardo DiCaprio! Matthew McConaughey! Jonah Hill! Spike Jonze! With your interest no-doubt piqued, let us explain – they are the cast of Martin Scorcese's 80s-set consumer-fest, financial crime caper The Wolf On Wall Street, based on the life of Jordan Belfort. It looks like a strong Oscar contender, with DiCaprio leaving no scenery un-chewed.
