SPECTRA have revealed an eclectic, avant-garde music line-up for the festival, which runs from 8-11 February. The festival's first night features Icelandic jazz rockers ADHD, synth-heavy duo Cymbals and Mt. Wolf. The line-up for 9 Feb features Wrangler – the new group comprised of Cabaret Voltaire's Stephen Wrangler, Phil Winter of Tunng and experimental electronic producer Benge – as well as Faroese techno duo Orka, and the electronic soundscapes of Tonik Ensemble.

On 10 Feb, Hidden Orchestra present an AV show, while the line-up also features Icelandic five-piece Mammút, the psych-infused electronica of Nányë, blues outfit Seafoam Green and the sparkling indie rock of Emma Pollock. Norwegian nu-disco producer Lindstrøm heads the bill on the festival's final night; he's joined by Warp Records mainstays Plaid, who'll be premiering a new AV show, as well as electronic soul duo Wyles & Simpson and vaudeville dream pop eight-piece Science of the Lamps. The weekend also features DJ sets from Norwegian techno legend Mental Overdrive, Steve Cobby, Cler Lever and James Orvis.

SPECTRA is Aberdeen's annual light festival, with light installations in locations across the city. SPECTRA 2018 runs in various venues across Aberdeen from 8-11 Feb 2018.
