Glasgow's Ripcord collective unleash charity punk compilation

Glasgow-based punk collective Ripcord have released a compilation album to raise money for mental health charities.

Featuring Scotland's high-speed melodicists The Murderburgers, alongside cult favourites Gnarwolves, rising Exeter trio Muncie Girls and a host of bands from the UK's DIY punk scene, RE:MIND Vol 2 is available to for stream and download through Ripcord's Bandcamp page.

All funds raised will go towards mental health charities Mind and SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health).

The first volume (focussed more on hardcore than pop-punk) is also still available for download, with an additional two volumes planned for future release. This is Ripcord's second project since its formation in 2013, following a series of charity auctions to generate money for Glasgow's Rape Crisis centre.
