Premiere: Fuzzkill Records presents NOW 666 Vol. 2

Glasgow's Fuzzkill Records premiere their Cassette Store Day compilation, NOW That's What I Call Music 666 Vol. II, featuring tracks by Catholic Action, Dune Witch Trails and Deathcats

Feature by Dave Kerr | 14 Oct 2015

Introducing the compilation, Fuzzkill's Ross Keppie says: "I basically just wanted to put a special compilation together to celebrate the labels 2nd birthday, which just so happened to fall round a similar time as Cassette Store Day.

"I asked a bunch of my favourite bands that have worked with the label over the past year or so to contribute a track and got a lot of new and unreleased stuff. It sounds really good, I'm very happy with how it all turned out!"

The 24-track compilation features contributions from Catholic Action, lo-fi newcomers Dune Witch Trails, and surf-punk trio Deathcats, who released their final split EP via the label late last year. Read the full tracklist and listen to the compilation below.

Fuzzkill Records – NOW That's What I Call Music 666 Vol. II is released on Cassette Store Day, Saturday 17 Oct, at independent record stores including monorail, Glasgow; Underground Solush'n, Edinburgh; Crash Records, Leeds; and Lion, Coffee & Records, Clapton, east London.
