Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds announce 2017 UK tour

The first full Bad Seeds tour following the release of last year's Skeleton Tree, the itinerary sees the Melbourne-formed veterans play some of the UK's biggest venues, including the Hydro in Glasgow and Manchester Arena. Tickets for the gigs go on sale on Fri 17 Feb at 9am UK time; a full list of tour dates can be found below.

Skeleton Tree – the Bad Seeds' 16th studio album – was completed in the wake of the death of Cave's son Arthur, with our reviewer describing the record as "a solemn fugue on death, grief, yearning and both sides of mortality’s coin". The album came in at number six in our Albums of 2016 list – read the full list here. Skeleton Tree was also accompanied by a black-and-white 3D documentary charting the album's creation by director and long-time Cave collaborator Andrew Dominik.
