The Manchester band have also shared the first track from the new album; listen to new track You Look Like A Sad Painting On Both Sides Of The Sky in the player.

Of the album title, frontman Jamie Lee says: "It seemed to make sense for the period, since I was dabbling with an unworldly attitude toward life, though that’s changed now.”

Talking to The Skinny ahead of the release of their debut LP The Shadow of Heaven in 2013, Lee said: "Most people would rather not think about death. In British society death has lost its place in our way of life. We try to hide it, we feel awkward talking about it. It is a kind of taboo to even give it internal credence."

The group rose to prominence as part of the Sways Records collective, which over 2012 and 2013 was responsible for early releases by the likes of Pins and Bernard and Edith, as well as gaining notoriety for a series of late-night shows – including an early gig by Savages – in the notorious Bunker, near Strangeways Prison.

MONEY subsequently signed to Bella Union ahead of the release of their debut LP, its success ultimately seeing them headline a special show in Albert Square as part of Manchester International Festival 2013.

Suicide Songs is released via Bella Union on 29 Jan; MONEY play gigs in Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Leeds in February 2016.
