Glastonbury announces 2017 line-up

The line-up for this year's Glastonbury festival has been revealed this morning, with acts ranging from Run The Jewels to The Jacksons to Katy Perry

Feature by The Skinny | 30 Mar 2017

As usual, the line-up is packed with bands and acts from right across the map. The hip-hop highlights include incendiary duo Run The Jewels and the uber-prolific Anderson .Paak, while UK grime aces Stormzy, Dizzee Rascal and Wiley also feature. Solange, Angel Olsen and Laura Marling are also on the bill, alongside returning indie mainstays Future Islands and The National.

The festival's tradition of adding a host of musical legends to the bill continues; this year's slots are filled by Bee Gees lynchpin Barry Gibb, The Jacksons, Chic and Kris Kristofferson. The new additions join the previously-announced headline trio of Radiohead, Ed Sheeran and Foo Fighters.

After this year's festival, the Glastonbury site of Worthy Farm will be given a break for a couple of years. There will be no festival in 2018, and then, in an interesting turn of events, the festival will go by the name "The Variety Bazaar" for the 2019 edition, which will take place on a new temporary site in the Midlands.
