Factory Floor remixed by Carl Craig and Laurel Halo

Feature by News Team | 10 Dec 2013

Out this week on DFA Records, the new single from Factory Floor – who came third in our Albums of the Year chart for 2013 with their self-titled full-length debut - features remixes from Detroit techno legend Carl Craig, and experimental synth-pop maven Laurel Halo

Laurel Halo's mix is dark and glitchy, turning the original's stripped, minimal percussive workout into a dark and murky soundscape. Carl Craig meanwhile chops down the original's analogue drums into sparse, stuttering techno percusssion, emphasing the track's building structure.
