On the occasion of what would have been David Bowie’s 70th birthday, new EP No Plan – believed to contain the late musician's final recordings – as been released, as well as an eerie video for the title track.

No Plan and two other new songs, When I Met You and Killing a Little Time, are featured on the EP. The tracks, taken from the soundtrack to Lazarus, Bowie’s Off-Broadway musical, are thought to be his last compositions written before his death in January 2016.

The No Plan video plays out over televisions displayed in a shop window. Given that the shop is named Newton Electrical, it seems to be paying homage to Bowie’s alien character Thomas Newton from the 1976 film The Man Who Fell to Earth, who would spend his days on Earth watching similar banks of televisions.

Yesterday also saw a charity concert take place at Brixton Academy, which saw Bowie fans gather to watch musicians including Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott and La Roux perform the star’s hits.

Watch the No Plan video in the player above and listen to the No Plan EP below, which also includes the song Lazarus from last year’s Blackstar album.
