Big Ups: Before A Million Universes album stream

Feature by News Team | 03 Mar 2016

New York noise rockers Big Ups are now streaming their second album Before A Million Universes ahead of its release on 4 March. The band will also tour the UK and Europe at the end of the month – their first visit to these shores in nearly two years.

The follow-up to 2014's Eighteen Hours Of Static, this sophomore LP sees the Brooklyn foursome continuing to explore pop songcraft via the sonic extremities of their beloved punk rock, calling to mind the jagged riffs of The Jesus Lizard and the invigorating chaos of Unsane. Frontman Joe Galarraga, meanwhile, explores themes from the crushing mechanics of capitalism to his latent understanding of parental sacrifice (as on new single National Parks – watch the video here).

Before A Million Universes is released by Team Love and Brace Yourself in the UK, and Exploding In Sound in the US. You can stream the album via Soundcloud below, with full European tour dates after the jump.
