Edinburgh four-piece Ded Rabbit are set to release their latest single – and follow-up to Figurine – Pressure Pusher on 3 Nov. Recorded at Rocket Science Studios in Glasgow, the single will be available digitally in early November, and comes backed with live favourite Never Gonna Learn.

At two-and-a-half-minutes long, Pressure Pusher is a concise slice of high-energy, 60s rock’n’roll-inspired indie pop that comes complete with a sense of humour. The Skinny are delighted to be premiering the single, which you can listen to in the player below. Of the song, drummer Eoin Gaine tells us: “Pressure Pusher is about the internal and external pressures found in everyday life. Naming the track was unusually hard as we had a few different titles going about. It wasn’t until we starting thinking about artwork and the video before we decided on the title.

“It was a pleasure as always using Rocket Science Studios in Glasgow. For this track we did things slightly differently and tracked most of the instruments together live, I think this helped it groove a little more.”

Pressure Pusher is released on 3 Nov; Catch Ded Rabbit live at The Hug & Pint, Glasgow, 30 Oct; Little Buildings, Newcastle, 3 Nov; Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh, 4 Nov; The Finsbury, London, 6 Nov; The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen, 9 Nov.
