Power Up: We Are The Physics @ Studio 24, 8 May

It’s impossible not to love We Are The Physics’ way with words. Their moniker was originally We Are The Physics Club And Therefore Everything We Say Is Fact, they have a song called You Can Do Athletics, BTW, and they describe their debut album We Are The Physics Are Ok At Music as the first album to be simultaneously good and shit. Oh, and their music's not bad either; a thundering, angular assault, relentless and always deliciously complex. Singing along is a bit tricky as each layer of vocals is all but unintelligible, but for deranged dancefloor-filling perfection, look no further.
