Múm @ Òran Mór, 15 Aug

Unless you’re a sneaky downloader, the title of Múm’s forthcoming album could prove entirely apt for their relocated Edge festival appearance this month. One week before it's actual release, the Icelandic experimentalists (is there any other kind of Icelandic band?) will be encouraging fans to Sing Along to Songs You Don’t Know. This could prove an onerous task even at the best of times with Múm, given that they dabble in glitch electronics and whispered ethereal vocals rather than anything a passing Robbie Williams fan would consider ‘music’. But hey, it’s a rare appearance by the burgeoning collective, so we’re up for the challenge.

7pm, £15

Sing Along to Songs You Don’t Know is released via Morr Music on 24 Aug.
