Live @ Loch Lomond, 2-3 Aug

When Live At Loch Lomond burst on to the Scottish festival circuit last year, it boasted an impressive line-up for a brand new day out, with big outdoor gig draws like Faithless, Supergrass, Calvin Harris and Feeder all helping to put the event on the map in its inaugural year. 2008's follow-up effort is no different, and no doubt due to its debut success, the festival continues a similar formula with Groove Armada, Ocean Colour Scene and Pete Doherty all featuring on the bill. There's even something for the more nostalgic festival-goer, with both the Happy Mondays and the Stereo MCs adding a distinct early 1990s flavour to proceedings. However, despite all of the above, the lion's share of hype surrounding this year's event comes courtesy of veteran punks the Sex Pistols, who will headline the festival on the second night, having added the bonnie, bonnie banks to their list of comeback destinations.
