Jack Peñate kicks off his summer season with a pre-festival June tour, previewing his forthcoming second album, to include new single Tonight’s Today. Debut album, Matinee, reached number 7 in the UK charts in 2007 and Peñate’s jangly tunes made him an instant radio favourite with songs Second, Minute or Hour and Torn on the Platform both winning BBC Radio 1’s Record of the Week. But don't go holding that against him. This London-lad’s known for his energetic live performances, and by all accounts he has taken it up a gear on the new LP, so bring those dancing shoes.
