Since hitting her stride with 2005's Speak for Yourself, singer songwriter Imogen Heap has constantly found new and innovative ways to create electronic hyper ballads that exude more comforting warmth than your gran's finest cocoa. If you've watched almost any hit US TV show in the past ten years you will no doubt have heard one of the London-based songstress’s abstractly intimate creations, such is Heap's compelling appeal. The multi-instrumentalist’s turbulent career is reflected in her beautiful and dissonant counter-melodies.
