Be A Familiar @ Classic Grand, 13 Dec

It’s no surprise that Glasgow band Be A Familiar count Sufjan Stevens and Broken Social Scene as inspiration. The seven piece ensemble occasionally emulate the orchestrations of their aforementioned muses but have a surprisingly tight and energetic sound, despite a presumed lack of elbow room onstage and in the recording studio. Since the release of their latest single Pain in the Heart, Be A Familiar have caught the ears of fans and critics alike.
