Metalcore climbers Architects headline 2009's Never Say Die! Tour.

Article by Lauren Mayberry | 10 Oct 2009

After a September run at the US, Architects headline this year’s Never Say Die! Tour. With five releases in five years, latest album Hollow Crown marks a progression, the outfit more polished and showcasing greater finesse than previous output, with a sound closer to Gojira or Meshuggah, two bastions of progressive technical metal. Now, signed to independent label Century Media Records, home of Strapping Young Lad and Cryptopsy, the Brighton quintet are generally regarded as one of the more successful cross-over mathcore acts, with interesting riffs and structures, and a coherent sense of urgency, crushing but accessible.

7pm, £13.50. Support from Despised Icon and As Blood Runs Black and more tbc.
