Bill Wells and Aidan Moffat have announced the release date and tracklist for their long-awaited second album, entitled The Most Important Place In The World.

The new album, out on 16 March, comes three years after the release of the duo’s debut album Everything’s Getting Older. The much-loved LP came third in our albums of the year list in 2011, and won the first Scottish Album of the Year award in 2012. The full tracklist for the new album has been unveiled – find it at the foot of the page.

Former Arab Strap man Moffat and Wells – the multi-instrumentalist best known for his work with the mischievously-named National Jazz Trio of Scotland – followed the album with the Cruel Summer EP, released in October 2011 to coincide with the duo's tour to promote their LP.

The Most Important Place In The World is out on LP, CD and download on 16 Mar, via Chemikal Underground.
