After dropping this banger with Zack de la Rocha last week, prolific rap team Killer Mike and El-P have brought forward their planned release of Run the Jewels II from 27 October to, well, right now.

You can download the album for gratis here, while various physical editions are also available for purchase. The pair offered this message to fans upon its release.

A kickstarter campaign to fund a remix album entitled Meow the Jewels – with a heavyweight cast which includes Automator, Prince Paul, Geoff Barrow and Alchemist now attached – recently made its $40k budget. El-P consequently auditioned a gang of cats for the gig.

Run the Jewels recently confirmed a debut Scottish show at Glasgow’s Garage on 10 Dec, alongside a previously-announced show at Gorilla in Manchester on 11 Dec.
