A clutch of new names have joined the line-up for the Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival in May, with a launch party at SWG3 this weekend also announced.

Detroit techno pioneer Robert Hood – playing under his Floorplan alias – and Leeds-based ‘UK bass’ producer Midland have both been added to the bill, along with Nina Kraviz and Joy Orbison, both of whom featured at Edinburgh’s recent Nightvision club series. They join the previously-announced Popof, Slam, Optimo, and Siriusmo/ Modeselektor collaboration Siriusmodeselektor. Sven Väth’s Cocoon club night will take hosting duties on two of the festival’s three stages.

To launch the 2015 festival, Electric Frog & Pressure host a free launch party at SWG3 in Glasgow on Sat 31 Jan from 8pm, featuring sets from Slam, Hektor Bizerk, Fly Club and a host of names from across the city’s club scene.

Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival takes place at the Riverside Museum, Glasgow on 29 and 30 May; day and weekend tickets are on-sale now at £35 and £65 respectively.
