Scots-Anglo-Irish art-rockers Django Django have unveiled First Light, the first track from the highly anticipated follow-up to their Mercury-nominated debut album.

The track arrives ahead of the band's live return with a pair of shows next month. The band play The Wardrobe in Leeds on 14 Feb and The Liquid Room in Edinburgh on 15 Feb, and have also been confirmed for the Field Day festival in London’s Victoria Park in June alongside Caribou, Patti Smith and Ride.

Dave Maclean, Vincent Neff, Jimmy Dixon and Tommy Grace’s self-titled debut came in second in our Albums of 2012 countdown, and received a nomination for the Mercury Prize that year.

First Light is out now on download and 12’’ vinyl, via Because Music.
