No details have yet emerged about the daily lectures, workshops and performances that will be taking place during the month-long event, but a free compilation of tracks, titled Various Assets, from last year's attendees has been unveiled today on the RBMA Soundcloud page – stream it below. The compilation includes tracks from the likes of Sinjin Hawke, Distal, Emufucka, and Dâm-Funk.

To apply, artists must send a CD of tracks to the Adacdemy's judging panel. Successful applicants will be able to attend the Academy free of charge, with flights and accomodation also paid for by RBMA. Started in 1998, this is the 14th annual outing for RBMA, who ofer this description of their programme: "If you can imagine a place that’s equal parts science lab, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and Kraftwerk’s home studio, you’re halfway there."
