Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights

A big dumb wreck of a racer.

Game Review by Graeme Strachan | 07 Nov 2007
It's a fun thing to pimp out a car in a racing game, but generally it has an effect on the game. Which exemplifies the problems with Juiced 2 - it's all for show. For example, after about 20 minutes of trying to make the in-game character look vaguely like me, I resigned myself to the fact that the only options were an anorexic chav or a hideously fugly chud. While it's a nice extra it suffers, like the rest of the game, from bad implementation. Not even the racing works - when the cars handle like something out of Postman Pat, you know there's trouble ahead; it's just 2 Fast 2 Infuriating. Add crap AI to adequate graphics and you've got a big dumb wreck of a racer, which just can't stand up to the PGRs and Burnouts it's trying to beat. (Graeme Strachan)
