Over The Hedge

Bruce Willis is the voice of RJ, a con artist raccoon in serious food debt to a very cranky bear (Nolte). When RJ meets a family of mismatched, hibernating woodland creatures, he decides to trick them into helping him gather food from over the hedge. But when RJ's ruse is uncovered, he finds himself knee-deep in garbage. Although 'Over the Hedge' falls short in teaching youngsters an obvious environmental lesson (don't feed animals rubbish!), the unbelievably destructive comic set-pieces will keep them laughing beyond the wild green yonder. A fun and forgettable addition to the animated animal kingdom. [Megan Garriock]
