Despite the chaos on set that included the original directors – Christopher Miller and Phil Lord – being fired mid-shoot, the few glimpses we’ve had from Solo: A Star Wars Story via the Star Wars spinoff’s promos have been promising. This latest trailer gives the best look yet at the film that’s been assembled by new director Ron Howard, and it looks promising.

The vibe is sci-fi heist movie as we see a young Han Solo (played by Alden Ehrenreich) being recruited by Woody Harrelson’s Tobias Beckett for a job that sounds a lot like a getaway driver/flyer – “I’ve waited a long time for a shot like this,” Ehrenreich’s Solo says of the mysterious mission. There’s also a bit more banter between Solo and his trusty pal Chewbacca, as well as some serious flirting with new character Qi’Ra (played by Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke).

The new trailer also gives us the first proper look at Atlanta's Donald Glover in the role of Lando Calrissian, and like Billy Dee Williams in The Empire Strikes Back, Glover plays the character as a smooth operator. “Everything you’ve heard about me is true,” he says to Solo.
