Firewall

Even though he's 63, Ford can still handle the action.

Film title: Firewall
Director: Richard Loncraine
Starring: Harrison Ford, Paul Bettany

Just like its lead actor, 'Firewall' is solid, reliable and does exactly what you would expect. Harrison Ford plays Jack Stanfield, a family man and bank security chief who designs a system to protect the bank from theft. Along comes Paul Bettany as the bog standard, cold-hearted British villain who kidnaps Ford's wife and kids in order to gain access to the money. There are enough twists and turns here to keep anyone entertained on a Saturday night, and even though he's 63 Ford can still handle the action. Virginia Madsen is wasted as his wife with little to do, but then this is Ford's movie. This isn't as slick as Spike Lee's 'The Inside Man', but if you're looking for a film in the vein of 'Patriot Games' and 'Air Force One' then this fits the bill. This Ford's still got some gas left in the tank: roll on Indy 4. [Craig Simpson]
