Sounds from the Other City: Share your experiences

The Skinny is teaming up with Sounds from the Other City festival for a new project, in which you become the eyes and ears of the event...

Salford's Sounds from the Other City festival is famed for its mind-bending atmosphere – this year, things get distinctly occult with art directors IMPA TV's 'Sound of the New Dawn' theme. Infiltrating the programme of music, performance and art will be dark rumblings, supernatural happenings and unearthly experiences...

To help capture the day's events, The Skinny is teaming up with SFTOC to present Sights of the New Dawn (see what we did there?!).

Simply tag your photos, videos and tweets from the festival with #SFTOC and they'll appear on our hashtag wall at Islington Mill, creating rolling coverage of the day from all corners of the site. 

So whether you’ve caught an impromptu gig or parade, sighted a mysterious occurrence or just want to tell everyone about the amazing band you're watching, use the hashtag to contribute to our panopticon of content. With Sights of the New Dawn, you become the all-seeing eyes of Sounds from the Other City. (And, bonus: if you're just chilling out at the Mill in between bands, you needn't miss out on the weirdness going on elsewhere.)

After the festival we'll be compiling our favourite posts into a multi-voiced review, celebrating the true spirit of Sounds from the Other City.
