Live at Leeds 2017: More acts announced
The city-based festival has announced a further wave of artists who'll join the bill on 29 April, including Rag'n'Bone Man
Live at Leeds' already huge line-up will be bolstered by the London soul singer and BBC Sound of 2017 runner-up Rag'n'Bone Man, plus Southend alternative rock quartet Nothing But Thieves, Australian trio DMA's, indie group The Hunna, folk-pop singer-songwriter turned popstar Gabrielle Aplin, and Temples.
Also announced are Fat White Family/Eccentronic Research Council supergroup The Moonlandingz, clever pop group Clean Cut Kid and grungey Glaswegian duo (and Skinny faves) Honeyblood.
They join a bill topped by suave Cumbrian odd-popsters Wild Beasts, dance-tinged psychedelicists Jagwar Ma, post-punk noisemongers White Lies, indie veterans The Pigeon Detectives and rock duo Slaves.
Local talent is important to the festival, its reputation having been built on offering the opportunity to see bands like Clean Bandit and Bastille before they got big, and continuing this tradition is the announcement of a clutch of new bands joining the line-up: be sure to check out 'psychedelic madmen' FLING, Dead Naked Hippies with their ‘pretty but gritty’ post-punk and the riff-toting Furr.
