Annual woodland gathering Gottwood has been growing for five years now, and they’re bringing the goods yet again on 11-14 Jun. On the bill you’ve got the likes of Zip, Zenker Bros, Tornado Wallace, MCDE, Radioactive Man, Luv Jam, Leon Vynehall, and Craig Richards teaming up with Ben UFO. The organisers have also been working on the live element this year, bringing in Andrew Ashong, Mouse Outfit and Point G to showcase their latest dabblings. But enough from us – we asked the event's organisers for their top tips, and here they are:

ZIP

"Well, it’s a no-brainer really, we’ve been wanting to book Zip for probably about six years now –  and it's finally happened. The co-founder of [Frankfurt-based label] Perlon and one of the righteous pioneers of the minimal/microhouse/techno scene is playing in our little forest… hmmm!"

MCDE

"Festival appearances for Danilo are not overly common, but when they do happen they tend to be incredible: Dekmantel 2014 springs to mind. We hoped he would make it last year but he couldn’t, so this year is the year! Sunday has tended to be the best night at Gottwood, and who better to close the festival than MCDE? Can't wait for this one."

Andrew Ashong

"This is a slightly left of centre booking for us; however we're certainly keen to bring live music to parts of the Gottwood line-up. That's one of the areas that we've looked to develop over the past few years. Andrew's music is simply incredible – when we saw him play in Brixton a year ago, we knew it would fit perfectly next to The Lake while the sun sets on the Saturday evening."

Craig Richards b2b Ben UFO

"When Craig took us to one side last year – his first Gottwood – and asked if he could host a stage this year, we were pretty honoured. The man has held the reins at arguably one of the world's best clubs, Fabric, for as long as we can remember. Him back to back with Ben UFO is sure to be nothing short of incredible. Expect some exceptional records you probably won’t hear anywhere else this year!
