Following last month's unveiling of the initial line-up at Fat Out Fest 2017, another eight artists have been announced for the Salford art and music festival, including Sheffield's Audacious Art Experiment-affiliated guitar heroes Blood Sport, Bristol bass noiseniks Giant Swan and experimental fuzz-manglers Housewives.

The stark songwriting of Manchester's Irma Vep, ambient soundscapers Kleefstra/Bakker/Kleefstra, pigeonhole-defying beatmakers Moor Mother and Glaswegian electro-prog outfit Ubre Blanca will also appear, while IMPATV will also supply an alembic feedback installation.

The festival takes place between 14-16 April 2017 in the warehouse spaces of Islington Mill, Caustic Coastal and Regents Trading 5. The Bug and Earth's Dylan Carlson were announced in October alongside other acts such as Blown Out, Cattle and Group A, with more details still to come. Alongside the various selections of art and music on offer, there will also be a variety of artist-led workshops, installations, surprise performances, DJs and speciality foods – plus, as they say, "shit-loads of glitter".

Tickets are available now via fatout.co.uk and Skiddle.
